Dr. Majmundar performs 9 different types of browlifts. Which lift is best for you depends on how you are aging. The most common browlift is a minibrowlift which uses a minimally invasive approach with 2 small incisions to lift the brow and smooth forehead lines.
The advantage of this type of brow lift is that once the incisions heal, they become inconspicuous. This procedure is less invasive and is associated with a smaller risk of scarring and temporary scalp numbness. If the patient has a receding hairline or is balding, other types of brow lifts can be performed to hide the incisions and still achieve a natural lift.

What can I expect from my recovery?
Most patients experience a certain amount of swelling and bruising within 7 to 10 days following surgery. The sutures are removed at seven days. Many times, a harmonious rejuvenation can be achieved when a natural brow lift is combined with a blepharoplasty (eyelid lift) or natural facelift.
