Neck Liposuction: Putting Your Face on a Pedestal
The refinement that stays with us about many memorable faces has a lot to do with the neck on which those faces are presented. The base for faces of beauty, leadership, and confidence is usually a graceful line with a clear definition between the neck, jaw, and chin.

Stepping in Where More is Needed

Neck liposuction is not a lengthy procedure, and it can usually be accomplished on an outpatient basis using local anesthesia. A special surgical tube called a cannula is inserted through one or more very small incisions, and excess fat is removed to safely sculpt the neckline you discussed with your board-certified facial plastic surgeon when you set your goals.
The recovery time is usually one week, which is when patients return to normal activities. A supporting chinstrap is often worn for three or four days after the surgery.
